ततः प्रविश्य जलधिं तं दृष्ट्वा दानवं रुषा । खङ्गाग्रेण शिरश्छित्त्वा चर्ममुण्डधरा ततः
tataḥ praviśya jaladhiṃ taṃ dṛṣṭvā dānavaṃ ruṣā | khaṅgāgreṇa śiraśchittvā carmamuṇḍadharā tataḥ
അനന്തരം അവൾ സമുദ്രത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച് ആ ദാനവനെ കണ്ടു ക്രോധത്തോടെ ഖഡ്ഗധാരയാൽ അവന്റെ ശിരസ് ഛേദിച്ചു; പിന്നെ അവന്റെ ചർമ്മവും ഛിന്നമുണ്ഡവും ധരിച്ചു।
