ममात्र संनिविष्टस्य सहानेन प्रजल्पतः । यदि कश्चिन्नरो मोहादागमिष्यति लक्ष्मण । स्वहस्तेन न संदेहः सूदयिष्यामि तं द्रुतम्
mamātra saṃniviṣṭasya sahānena prajalpataḥ | yadi kaścinnaro mohādāgamiṣyati lakṣmaṇa | svahastena na saṃdehaḥ sūdayiṣyāmi taṃ drutam
ഹേ ലക്ഷ്മണാ, ഞാൻ ഇവിടെ ഇരുന്ന് ഇദ്ദേഹത്തോട് സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ആരെങ്കിലും മോഹത്താൽ ഇങ്ങോട്ട് വന്നാൽ, സംശയമില്ലാതെ ഞാൻ എൻ്റെ കൈകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ അവനെ ഉടൻ വധിക്കും.
