ततोऽस्य प्रददौ काले व्रतं विप्रजनोचितम् । समभ्येत्य स्वयं शुक्रो दानवस्यापि संद्विजः
tato'sya pradadau kāle vrataṃ viprajanocitam | samabhyetya svayaṃ śukro dānavasyāpi saṃdvijaḥ
പിന്നീട് യഥാകാലത്ത് അവന് ബ്രാഹ്മണജന്മ വിദ്യാർത്ഥിക്ക് യോജിച്ച വ്രതം (ബ്രഹ്മചര്യദീക്ഷ) നൽകി; ദാനവഗുരുവും പൂജ്യ ദ്വിജനുമായ ശുക്രാചാര്യൻ സ്വയം വന്നു ചേർന്നു।
