इंद्रद्युम्न उवाच । कस्माच्च्यावयसे ब्रह्मन्निजलोकाद्द्रुतं हि माम् । अपापमपि देवेश तथा मे वद कारणम्
iṃdradyumna uvāca | kasmāccyāvayase brahmannijalokāddrutaṃ hi mām | apāpamapi deveśa tathā me vada kāraṇam
ഇന്ദ്രദ്യുമ്നൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “ഹേ ബ്രഹ്മൻ, നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്വലോകത്തിൽ നിന്ന് എന്നെ ഇത്ര വേഗം എന്തുകൊണ്ട് നീക്കുന്നു? ഹേ ദേവേശ, ഞാൻ പാപരഹിതനായിട്ടും ഇതിന്റെ സത്യകാരണം അരുളുക।”
