तत्र कल्पसहस्रांते स प्रोक्तो ब्रह्मणा स्वयम् । इंद्रद्युम्न धरां गच्छ न स्थातव्यं त्वयाऽधुना
tatra kalpasahasrāṃte sa prokto brahmaṇā svayam | iṃdradyumna dharāṃ gaccha na sthātavyaṃ tvayā'dhunā
അവിടെ സഹസ്ര കല്പാന്തത്തിൽ സ്വയം ബ്രഹ്മാവ് അവനോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു— “ഇന്ദ്രദ്യുമ്നാ, ഭൂമിയിലേക്കു പോകുക; ഇപ്പൊഴിവിടെ നിനക്കു താമസിക്കേണ്ടതല്ല।”
