नागरेषु समुत्पन्नः पश्चिमेवयसि स्थितः । तस्याहं प्रथमः पुत्रः प्राणेभ्योऽपि सुहृत्प्रियः
nāgareṣu samutpannaḥ paścimevayasi sthitaḥ | tasyāhaṃ prathamaḥ putraḥ prāṇebhyo'pi suhṛtpriyaḥ
അവൻ നാഗരന്മാരിൽ ജനിച്ച്, പാശ്ചാത്യവയസ്സിൽ സ്ഥിരനായി. ഞാൻ അവന്റെ ആദ്യപുത്രൻ—പ്രാണത്തേക്കാളും പ്രിയൻ, വിശ്വസ്തസഖാവുപോലെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ടവൻ.
