मृगयायां गमिष्यामि तिष्ठध्वं राज्यपालने । गम्यतां सचिवैः प्रोक्ते गतोऽसौ वसुधाधिपः
mṛgayāyāṃ gamiṣyāmi tiṣṭhadhvaṃ rājyapālane | gamyatāṃ sacivaiḥ prokte gato'sau vasudhādhipaḥ
രാജാവ് പറഞ്ഞു—“ഞാൻ മൃഗയയ്ക്ക് (വേട്ടയ്ക്ക്) പോകുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ രാജ്യം കാക്കുന്നതിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുക.” മന്ത്രിമാർ “പോകുക” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ആ ഭൂധിപൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
