एवं ज्ञात्वा महाभागे असद्ग्राहं परित्यज । तत्र लोके विरुद्धं वै कुप्यन्ते येन वै द्विजाः
evaṃ jñātvā mahābhāge asadgrāhaṃ parityaja | tatra loke viruddhaṃ vai kupyante yena vai dvijāḥ
ഹേ മഹാഭാഗേ, ഇതറിഞ്ഞ് ഈ അനാചാരമായ പിടിവാശി ഉപേക്ഷിക്ക; ലോകത്തിൽ ധർമ്മക്രമത്തിന് വിരുദ്ധമായതുകൊണ്ടാണ് ദ്വിജ ബ്രാഹ്മണർ കോപിക്കുന്നത്।
