आसीत्कृतयुगे राजा नाम्ना दुर्योधनो महान् । हस्त्यश्वरथसम्पूर्णो मेदिनीपरिपालकः

āsītkṛtayuge rājā nāmnā duryodhano mahān | hastyaśvarathasampūrṇo medinīparipālakaḥ

കൃതയുഗത്തിൽ ദുര്യോധനൻ എന്ന മഹാരാജാവ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവന്റെ സൈന്യം ആന, കുതിര, രഥങ്ങളാൽ സമ്പൂർണ്ണമായിരുന്നു; അവൻ ഭൂമിയുടെ പരിപാലകനായ ഭരണാധികാരിയായിരുന്നു।
