साहं पोतमिमं तुभ्यं गृहीत्वा ह्यागता द्विज । न ह्यस्य पोतस्य क्षयो यत्र तिष्ठति शंकरः
sāhaṃ potamimaṃ tubhyaṃ gṛhītvā hyāgatā dvija | na hyasya potasya kṣayo yatra tiṣṭhati śaṃkaraḥ
അതുകൊണ്ട്, ഹേ ദ്വിജാ, ഈ തോണി കൈയിൽ എടുത്ത് ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈ തോണിക്ക് നാശമില്ല; കാരണം ഇത് നിൽക്കുന്നിടത്ത് ശങ്കരൻ വസിക്കുന്നു.
