ईश्वर उवाच । भोभोः सुरा हि तपसा तुष्टोऽहं वो विशेषतः । वचनाच्च विशेषेण ददाम्यभिमतं वरम्
īśvara uvāca | bhobhoḥ surā hi tapasā tuṣṭo'haṃ vo viśeṣataḥ | vacanācca viśeṣeṇa dadāmyabhimataṃ varam
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ ദേവന്മാരേ! നിങ്ങളുടെ തപസ്സാൽ ഞാൻ പ്രത്യേകമായി സന്തുഷ്ടനാണ്; നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥനാവചനങ്ങളാൽ അതിലും അധികം. നിങ്ങൾ അഭിലഷിച്ച വരം ഞാൻ നൽകുന്നു.
