विघ्नैरनेकैरतियोज्यमाना ये तीरमुझन्ति न नर्मदायाः । ते चैव सर्वस्य हितार्थभूता वन्द्याश्च ते सर्वजनस्य मान्याः
vighnairanekairatiyojyamānā ye tīramujhanti na narmadāyāḥ | te caiva sarvasya hitārthabhūtā vandyāśca te sarvajanasya mānyāḥ
അനേകം തടസ്സങ്ങൾ നേരിട്ടാലും ആരാണോ നർമ്മദാ തീരം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കാത്തത്, അവർ എല്ലാവരുടേയും ക്ഷേമത്തിന് കാരണമായിത്തീരുന്നു; അവർ വന്ദ്യരും എല്ലാവരാലും ആദരിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടവരുമാണ്.
