vedopavedavedāṅgādīnyabhivyasya pūritaḥ | aṣṭādaśapurāṇānāṃ vaktā satyavatīsutaḥ

Translation

വേദം, ഉപവേദം, വേദാംഗം മുതലായവ സമഗ്രമായി വ്യാഖ്യാനിച്ച് പൂർണ്ണമാക്കിയ ശേഷം, സത്യവതീപുത്രൻ (വ്യാസൻ) അഷ്ടാദശ പുരാണങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവക്താവായി।
