स्वश्वा यशसा यातमर्वाग्दस्रा निधिं मधुमन्तं पिबाथः । वि वां रथो वध्वा यादमानोऽन्तान्दिवो बाधते वर्तनिभ्याम् ॥
sváśvā yaśásā yātam arvā́g dasrā nidʰíṃ mádhumantaṃ pibāthaḥ | ví vām rátho vadhvā́ yā́damāno’ntā́n divó bādhate vartaníbhyām ||
ഹേ ദസ്രാ അശ്വിന്മാരേ, സ്വശ്വാ (നല്ല അശ്വങ്ങളോടെ) യശസ്സോടെ ഇവിടെ വരിക; മധുമന്ത നിധി പാനം ചെയ്യുക. നിങ്ങളുടെ രഥം—വധൂ (സംയോഗ-ശക്തി)യോടുകൂടെ സഞ്ചരിച്ച്—തന്റെ രണ്ടു വർതനികളാൽ ദിവത്തിന്റെ അറ്റങ്ങളെ ഭേദിച്ചു, ഊർധ്വാരോഹണത്തിനായി പഥം തുറക്കുന്നു.
