Sukta 6.13
स सत्पतिः शवसा हन्ति वृत्रमग्ने विप्रो वि पणेर्भर्ति वाजम् । यं त्वं प्रचेत ऋतजात राया सजोषा नप्त्रापां हिनोषि ॥
sá sátpatiḥ śávasā hanti vṛtrám agne vípro ví paṇér bhárti vā́jam | yáṃ tváṃ práceta ṛtajāta rāyā́ sajóṣā náptrā apā́ṃ hinóṣi ||
അവൻ സത്യത്തിന്റെ അധിപൻ; തന്റെ ശവസാ (ബലം)കൊണ്ട് വൃത്രൻ (ആവരണകാരൻ)നെ സംഹരിക്കുന്നു. ഹേ അഗ്നേ, വിപ്രൻ (പ്രേരിത ഋഷി) പണേർ (പാണി—വ്യാപാരി/ലാഭലോലൻ)നിൽ നിന്ന് വാജം (ശക്തി-സമൃദ്ധി) കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു. ആരെയോ നീ, ഹേ പ്രചേത (മുൻജ്ഞാത), ഋതജാത, നിന്റെ റായാഃ (സമൃദ്ധിയുടെ പ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ)കൊണ്ട്—അപാം നപ്ത്രാ (ജലങ്ങളുടെ സന്തതി)യോടൊപ്പം ഒരുമിച്ച്—പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നുവോ, അവനെയേ നീ മുന്നോട്ടു തള്ളിനയിക്കുന്നു.
