द्विधा सूनवोऽसुरं स्वर्विदमास्थापयन्त तृतीयेन कर्मणा । स्वां प्रजां पितरः पित्र्यं सह आवरेष्वदधुस्तन्तुमाततम् ॥

Transliteration

dvídhā sū́navo ásuraṃ svaḥ-vidám ā́sthāpayanta tṛtī́yena kármaṇā | svā́ṃ prajā́ṃ pitáraḥ pitryáṃ sáha ā́váreṣv adadhus tántum ā́tatam ||

Translation

രണ്ടുവിധത്തിൽ സൂനവർ സ്വർവിദ അസുരനെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചു; മൂന്നാമത്തെ കർമത്താൽ അവനെ ദൃഢമാക്കി. പിതാക്കന്മാർ തങ്ങളുടെ പ്രജയെ—പിത്ര്യ സഹ (പൂർവ്വജബലം)—താഴ്ന്ന ലോകങ്ങളിൽ നിവർത്തിച്ചു; നീട്ടിപ്പരന്ന തന്തുവിനെ വിരിച്ചു വെച്ചു.
