Transliteration
uṣás tát citrám ā́ bharāsmábhyaṃ vājinī-vati | yéna tokáṃ ca tánayaṃ ca dhā́mahe ||
Translation
ഹേ ഉഷസേ, വാജിനീവതി, ആ ചിത്രമയ ദീപ്തമായ ദാനം ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി കൊണ്ടുവരിക; അതിനാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ തോകം (സന്തതി)യും തനയം (പുത്ര-സന്തതി)യും സ്ഥാപിക്കട്ടെ, സത്യനിവാസത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ വളർച്ചകളെ ഉറപ്പിക്കട്ടെ.
