Sukta 1.105
यज्ञं पृच्छाम्यवमं स तद्दूतो वि वोचति । क्व ऋतं पूर्व्यं गतं कस्तद्बिभर्ति नूतनो वित्तं मे अस्य रोदसी ॥
yajñáṃ pṛcchāmy avamáṃ sá tád dūtó ví vocati | kvà ṛtáṃ pū́rvyaṃ gatáṃ kás tád bibharti nū́tano vittáṃ me asyá rodasī ||
ഞാൻ യജ്ഞത്തെ അതിന്റെ അവമ (താഴ്ന്ന) ആസനത്തിൽ ചോദിക്കുന്നു; അത് ദൂതനായി തുറന്നു പറയുന്നു: ‘പൂർവ്യ ഋത—പുരാതന സത്യ-ക്രമം എവിടെ പോയി? അതിനെ ഇപ്പോൾ നൂതനമായി ആരാണ് വഹിക്കുന്നത്?’—ഹേ ദ്യാവാപൃഥിവീ, എന്റെ ഈ തേടലിന്റെ വിറ്റം അറിയുക.
