त्र्यशीतितमः सर्गः (Sarga 83)

यस्यार्थास्स च विक्रान्तोयस्यार्थास्स च बुद्धिमान् ।यस्यार्थास्समहाभागोयस्यार्थास्समहागुणः ।।6.83.36।।
yasyārthāḥ sa ca vikrānto yasyārthāḥ sa ca buddhimān |
yasyārthāḥ sa mahābhāgo yasyārthāḥ sa mahāguṇaḥ ||6.83.36||
ധനം ഉള്ളവൻ വീരൻ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; ധനവാനെ ബുദ്ധിമാനെന്നും പറയുന്നു. ധനവാനെ മഹാഭാഗ്യവാനെന്നും, ധനവാനെ മഹാഗുണവാനെന്നും പുകഴ്ത്തുന്നു.
He is gallant to whom wealth has flown, he is intelligent in whom wealth abides, he is glorious in whom wealth exists and he is superior in great virtues in whom wealth found receptacle.
The verse critiques how worldly judgment conflates wealth with virtue. Dharma requires evaluating character by conduct and truth, not by possessions.
Continuing his argument, Rāvaṇa claims wealth shapes public perception of courage, wisdom, and virtue.
Satya-based integrity: standing by truth and right conduct even when society misreads merit.
