स तुतेनप्रहारेणविह्वलोभृशताडितः ।निपपाततदाकुम्भोगतार्चिरिवपावकः ।।।।
sa tu tena prahāreṇa vihvalo bhṛśatāḍitaḥ |
nipapāta tadā kumbho gatārcir iva pāvakaḥ ||
ആ പ്രഹാരത്തിൽ കഠിനമായി താഡിതനായി കുംഭൻ വിഹ്വലനായി; പ്രകാശം അണഞ്ഞ അഗ്നിപോലെ അപ്പോൾ തന്നെ അവൻ നിലംപതിച്ചു.
