युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

ततःकुम्भंसमुत्क्षिप्यसुग्रीवोलवणाम्भसि ।पातयामासवेगेनदर्शयन्नुदधेस्तलम् ।।।।
tataḥ kumbhaṃ samutkṣipya sugrīvo lavaṇāmbhasi |
pātayāmāsa vegena darśayann udadhes talam ||
പിന്നെ സുഗ്രീവൻ കുംഭനെ ഉയർത്തി ഉപ്പുനീരായ സമുദ്രത്തിലേക്ക് വേഗത്തോടെ എറിഞ്ഞു; സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ അടിത്തട്ടു തന്നെ കാണിച്ചുതരുന്നതുപോലെ.
