औषधिपर्वताहरणम् / The Retrieval of the Herb

Bearing Mountain

तस्मैतुदत्तंपरमास्त्रमेतत्स्वयम्भुवाब्राह्मममोघवेगम् ।तन्मानयन्तौयुधिराजपुत्रौनिपातितौकोऽत्रविषादकालः ।।6.74.4।।

tasmai tu dattaṃ paramāstram etat svayambhuvā brāhmam amogha-vegam | tan mānayantau yudhi rāja-putrau nipātitau ko 'tra viṣāda-kālaḥ ||6.74.4||

സ്വയംഭൂവായ ബ്രഹ്മാവ് അവനു നൽകിയതാകുന്നു ഈ പരമ ബ്രാഹ്മാസ്ത്രം—വേഗവാനും അച്യുതശക്തിയുമുള്ളത്. യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ആ ദിവ്യശസ്ത്രത്തെ മാനിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ആ രണ്ടു രാജകുമാരന്മാർ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇവിടെ ദുഃഖിക്കേണ്ട അവസരം എവിടെ?
