शुकसारण-चारप्रवेशः

Suka and Sāraṇa’s Espionage and Release

संस्थितंपर्वताग्रेषुनिर्दरेषुगुहासुच ।समुद्रस्यचतीरेषुवनेषूपवनेषुच ।।6.25.11।।तरमाणंचतीर्णंचतर्तुकामंचसर्वशः ।निविष्टंनिविश्चैवभीमनादंमहाबलम् ।।6.25.12।।तद्बलार्णवमक्षोभ्यंददृशातेनिशाचरौ ।

saṃsthitaṃ parvatāgreṣu nirdareṣu guhāsu ca | samudrasya ca tīreṣu vaneṣūpavaneṣu ca ||

taramāṇaṃ ca tīrṇaṃ ca tartukāmaṃ ca sarvaśaḥ | niviṣṭaṃ niviś caiva bhīmanādaṃ mahābalam ||

tad-balārṇavam akṣobhyaṃ dadṛśāte niśācarau ||

പർവ്വതശിഖരങ്ങളിൽ, കുഴികളിലെ നിർജലഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ, ഗുഹകളിൽ, സമുദ്രതീരങ്ങളിൽ, വനങ്ങളിലും ഉപവനങ്ങളിലും എല്ലായിടത്തും നിലകൊണ്ട—ചിലർ കടക്കുന്നു, ചിലർ കടന്നുകഴിഞ്ഞു, ചിലർ കടക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു—ഭീകരനാദം മുഴക്കുന്ന മഹാബലവാനായ, അക്ഷോഭ്യമായ ആ സേനാരൂപ ബലസമുദ്രത്തെ ആ രണ്ടു നിശാചരന്മാർ കണ്ടു.
