स्वस्थापश्यतदुर्धर्षायुद्धंवानरपुङ्गवाः ।असीनाःपर्वताग्रेषुममेदंरावणस्य च ।।।।

svasthāḥ paśyata durdharṣā yuddhaṃ vānarapuṅgavāḥ |

āsīnāḥ parvatāgreṣu mamedaṃ rāvaṇasya ca ||

Translation

ഹേ വാനരപുംഗവന്മാരേ, അജയ്യ വീരന്മാരേ, സ്ഥിരരായി നോക്കുവിൻ—പർവ്വതശിഖരങ്ങളിൽ ഇരുന്നുകൊണ്ട്—എന്നുടെയും രാവണന്റെയും ഈ ഭീകര യുദ്ധം.
