क्ष्मणंपरिवार्यैवतिष्ठध्वंवानरोत्तमाः ।।6.101.46।।पराक्रमस्यकालोऽयंसम्प्राप्तोमेचिरेप्सितः ।पापात्मायंदशग्रीवोवध्यतांपापनिश्चयः ।।6.101.47।।काङ्क्षितस्स्तोककस्येवघर्मान्तेमेघदर्शनम् ।

Transliteration

lakṣmaṇaṃ parivāryaiva tiṣṭhadhvaṃ vānarottamāḥ |

parākramasya kālo 'yaṃ samprāpto me cirepsitaḥ |

pāpātmāyaṃ daśagrīvo vadhyatāṃ pāpaniścayaḥ |

kāṅkṣitas stokakasyeva gharmānte meghadarśanam ||

Translation

വാനരശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരേ, ലക്ഷ്മണനെ ചുറ്റി കാവലായി ദൃഢമായി നില്ക്കുവിൻ. എന്റെ പരാക്രമം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കേണ്ട, ദീർഘകാലമായി ആഗ്രഹിച്ച സമയം ഇപ്പോൾ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. പാപാത്മാവും പാപനിശ്ചയിയും ആയ ഈ ദശഗ്രീവനെ വധിക്കപ്പെടട്ടെ. ഗ്രീഷ്മാന്ത്യത്തിൽ ചാതകപ്പക്ഷിക്ക് ആഗ്രഹിച്ച മേഘദർശനം പോലെ എനിക്ക് ഈ നിമിഷം.
