ततोरावणवेगेनसुदूरमवगाढया ।शक्त्याविभिन्नहृदयःपपातभुविलक्ष्मणः ।।।।

Transliteration

tato rāvaṇavegena sudūram avagāḍhayā | śaktyā vibhinnahṛdayaḥ papāta bhuvi lakṣmaṇaḥ ||

Translation

പിന്നെ രാവണന്റെ വേഗത്തോടെ അത്യന്തം ആഴത്തിൽ കുത്തിക്കയറ്റപ്പെട്ട ആ ശക്തി ഹൃദയം ഭേദിച്ചതിനാൽ ലക്ഷ്മണൻ ഭൂമിയിൽ വീണു.
