अविमुक्तक्षेत्रमाहात्म्य — काशी-वाराणसी में मोक्ष, लिङ्ग-तीर्थ-मानचित्र, और उपासना-विधि

विशोध्य सर्वद्रव्यैस्तु वारिभिर् अभिषिञ्चति संमार्ज्य शतयज्ञानां स्नानेन प्रयुतं तथा

viśodhya sarvadravyaistu vāribhir abhiṣiñcati saṃmārjya śatayajñānāṃ snānena prayutaṃ tathā

എല്ലാ ശുദ്ധികര ദ്രവ്യങ്ങളാലും ആദ്യം ലിംഗവും പൂജാസ്ഥലവും വിശോധിച്ച്, പിന്നെ ജലങ്ങളാൽ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്യണം. സമ്യക് സംമാർജ്ജനത്തോടെ ചെയ്ത ഈ സ്നാനം ശതയജ്ഞഫലസമം; സ്നാനക്രിയയാൽ അത് അയുതഗുണം വർദ്ധിക്കുന്നു—പാശബന്ധിത പശുവിനെ മോചിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പതി പ്രഭുവിനോടുള്ള ഭക്തിയോടെ ചെയ്താൽ।
