अध्याय 91: अरिष्ट-लक्षण, मृत्यु-संस्कार, पाशुपत-धारणा तथा ओङ्कार-उपासना

समकायशिरोग्रीवो धारयन् नावलोकयेत् यथा दीपो निवातस्थो नेङ्गते सोपमा स्मृता

samakāyaśirogrīvo dhārayan nāvalokayet yathā dīpo nivātastho neṅgate sopamā smṛtā

ദേഹം, തല, കഴുത്ത് എന്നിവ ഒരേ രേഖയിൽ സ്ഥിരമായി നിർത്തി, साधകൻ ചിത്തം പുറത്തേക്ക് അലഞ്ഞുതിരിയാൻ അനുവദിക്കരുത്. കാറ്റില്ലാത്ത സ്ഥലത്തെ ദീപം കുലുങ്ങാത്തതുപോലെ, പതി ശിവനിലേക്കുള്ള ധ്യാന-സമാധിയുടെ സ്ഥിരതയ്ക്ക് ഇതാണ് ഉപമയായി സ്മരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്.
