Sukta 25
धातः॒ श्रेष्ठे॑न रू॒पेणा॒स्या नार्या॑ गवी॒न्योः । पुमां॑सं पु॒त्रमा धे॑हि दश॒मे मा॒सि सूत॑वे
dhātáḥ śréṣṭhena rūpéṇāsyā́ nā́ryā gavīnyóḥ | púmāṃsaṃ putrám ā́ dhehi daśamé mā́si sūtáve ||
O Dhātṛ, with thy most excellent form, within this woman—these cow-like sources of increase—implant a manly son, that in the tenth month she may bring him forth.
ഹേ ധാതൃ! നിന്റെ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ രൂപത്താൽ, ഈ സ്ത്രീയിൽ—ഈ ഗോവിന്യഃ (ഗോവിനംപോലുള്ള വർദ്ധന-സ്രോതസ്സുകൾ)യിൽ—പുരുഷസ്വഭാവമുള്ള പുത്രനെ സ്ഥാപിക്കേണമേ; പത്താം മാസത്തിൽ അവൾ അവനെ പ്രസവിക്കട്ടെ.
