The Description of the Greatness of the Gaṅgā

हिमवद्विंध्यसदृशा राशयः पापकर्मणाम् । गंगांभसा विनश्यंति विष्णुभक्त्या यथापदः ॥ ३४ ॥

himavadviṃdhyasadṛśā rāśayaḥ pāpakarmaṇām | gaṃgāṃbhasā vinaśyaṃti viṣṇubhaktyā yathāpadaḥ || 34 ||

ಹಿಮವತ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಂಧ್ಯಗಳಂತೆ ಮಹತ್ತರವಾದ ಪಾಪಕರ್ಮರಾಶಿಗಳೂ ಗಂಗಾಜಲದಿಂದ ನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ವಿಷ್ಣುಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಅವು ಪಾದಚಿಹ್ನೆಗಳಂತೆ ಕ್ಷಯವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ।
