प्रवेशमात्रे गंगायां स्नानार्थं भक्तितो नृणाम् । ब्रह्महत्यादिपापानि हाहेत्युक्त्वा प्रयांत्यलम् ॥ ३५ ॥

praveśamātre gaṃgāyāṃ snānārthaṃ bhaktito nṛṇām | brahmahatyādipāpāni hāhetyuktvā prayāṃtyalam || 35 ||

ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸ್ನಾನಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಗಂಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದ ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಹತ್ಯಾದಿ ಪಾಪಗಳು ‘ಹಾ ಹಾ’ ಎಂದು ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ದೂರವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ।
