Saṅdhyā-ādi Nitya-karma-Vidhi
tena satyena me deva dehi tīrthaṃ divākara || 26 ||
Unspecified (a supplicant addressing the Sun-god, Divākara)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents satya (truthfulness) as a spiritual force (satya-bala) capable of sanctifying space—requesting the Sun to bestow a tīrtha, a place that enables purification and auspicious passage.
The verse models devotional surrender through direct prayer to a deity (Surya), combining reverence with moral power (satya) as the inner qualification for receiving divine grace.
It reflects mantra-prayoga style invocation and the ritual idea of tīrtha-pratishṭhā (sanctifying a holy place), aligned with Vedanga-linked practice where correct address, intent, and dharmic qualification (satya) are essential.
