हरश्चैवार्द्धदेहेन विष्णुरर्द्धेन चाभवत् । एकतो विष्णुचिह्नानि हरचिह्नानि चैकतः
haraścaivārddhadehena viṣṇurarddhena cābhavat | ekato viṣṇucihnāni haracihnāni caikataḥ
ដោយពាក់កណ្តាលមួយនៃព្រះកាយ ទ្រង់បានក្លាយជា ហរ (សិវៈ) ហើយដោយពាក់កណ្តាលមួយទៀត ទ្រង់បានក្លាយជា វិṣṇុ។ ខាងមួយមានសញ្ញានៃវិṣṇុ ខាងមួយទៀតមានសញ្ញានៃហរ។
