ब्रह्मोवाच । तपः शृणुष्व विप्रेंद्र विस्तरेण महामते । यस्य श्रवणमात्रेण चातुर्मास्येऽ घनाशनम्
brahmovāca | tapaḥ śṛṇuṣva vipreṃdra vistareṇa mahāmate | yasya śravaṇamātreṇa cāturmāsye' ghanāśanam
ព្រះព្រហ្មមានព្រះបន្ទូល៖ ឱ វិប្រេន្ទ្រា (ព្រាហ្មណ៍ល្អបំផុត) ឱ មហាមតេ (អ្នកប្រាជ្ញធំ) ចូរស្តាប់ដោយលម្អិតអំពីតបៈនេះ; ដោយស្តាប់តែប៉ុណ្ណោះ បាបដែលសន្សំក្នុងចាតុರ್ಮាស្យា នឹងត្រូវបំផ្លាញ។
