राम उवाच । स्थितेऽस्मिन्मुनिशार्दूले समीपे वत्स लक्ष्मण । अनर्हा निष्कृतिः कर्तुं तस्मादेनं प्रयाचय
rāma uvāca | sthite'sminmuniśārdūle samīpe vatsa lakṣmaṇa | anarhā niṣkṛtiḥ kartuṃ tasmādenaṃ prayācaya
ព្រះរាមមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «លក្ខ្មណៈកូនស្នេហ៍ នៅពេលមហាមុនី—ដូចខ្លាធំក្នុងចំណោមអ្នកប្រាជ្ញ—ស្ថិតនៅជិតនេះ មិនសមយើងធ្វើពិធីសងបាបដោយខ្លួនឯងទេ ដូច្នេះ ចូរទៅសូមព្រះអង្គនោះ (សុំការណែនាំ)»។
