ऋषय ऊचुः । किं फलं तस्य चोद्देशः केन चैव पुना कृतम् । कस्माद्व्रतमिदं जातं कृतं केन पुरा विभो
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | kiṃ phalaṃ tasya coddeśaḥ kena caiva punā kṛtam | kasmādvratamidaṃ jātaṃ kṛtaṃ kena purā vibho
ព្រះឥសីទាំងឡាយបាននិយាយថា៖ «ផលរបស់វាជាអ្វី ហើយគោលបំណងរបស់វាជាអ្វី? អ្នកណាបានអនុវត្តវាម្ដងទៀត? ពីហេតុអ្វីបានកើតវ្រតនេះ ហើយកាលបុរាណ អ្នកណាបានធ្វើវា ឱ ព្រះអង្គដ៏គួរគោរព?»
