patitā guravastyājyā mātā ca na kathaṃcana | garbhadhāraṇapoṣābhyāṃ tena mātā garīyasī

ទោះបីគ្រូបង្រៀនធ្លាក់ចេញពីធម៌ ក៏អាចបោះបង់បាន; ប៉ុន្តែម្តាយ មិនត្រូវបោះបង់ឡើយ ក្នុងកាលៈទេសៈណាមួយ។ ដោយការទ្រទ្រង់គភ៌ និងការចិញ្ចឹមបំប៉ន ដូច្នេះម្តាយមានកិត្តិយសធ្ងន់ធ្ងរជាងគេ។
