नास्ति मातृसमं त्राणं नास्ति मातृसमा प्रपा । कुक्षिसंधारणाद्धात्री जननाज्जननी तथा
nāsti mātṛsamaṃ trāṇaṃ nāsti mātṛsamā prapā | kukṣisaṃdhāraṇāddhātrī jananājjananī tathā
គ្មានការការពារណាដូចម្តាយទេ; គ្មានទីសម្រាកជ្រកកោនណាដូចម្តាយឡើយ។ ព្រោះនាងទ្រទ្រង់កូនក្នុងផ្ទៃ នាងហៅថា «ធាត្រី» (អ្នកចិញ្ចឹមថែរក្សា) ហើយព្រោះនាងបង្កើតកំណើត នាងហៅថា «ជននី» (ម្តាយ)។
