स्तंभतीर्थमिति ख्यातं स्तम्भो गर्वः कृतो यतः । स्तंभस्य हि फलं सद्यो ब्रह्मापि प्राप किं परः
staṃbhatīrthamiti khyātaṃ stambho garvaḥ kṛto yataḥ | staṃbhasya hi phalaṃ sadyo brahmāpi prāpa kiṃ paraḥ
វានឹងល្បីថា «ស្តម្ភទីរថៈ» ព្រោះនៅទីនោះបានធ្វើឲ្យមោទនភាព (garva) ក្លាយជាស្តម្ភ (stambha)។ ផលនៃមោទនភាពមកភ្លាមៗ—បើសូម្បីព្រះព្រហ្មា ក៏បានជួបវា តើអ្នកដទៃនឹងអ្វីទៅទៀត?
