vākpravṛttipradodgāre prayatne sarvakarmaṇām | ākaṃṭhasurasaṃsthānamudānasya prakīrtyate

ឧទានៈ (Udāna) ត្រូវបាននិយាយថា ជាអ្នកបណ្តាលឲ្យសកម្មភាពនៃពាក្យសម្តីបង្ហាញចេញ ក៏ដូចជាការក្អកចេញ (belching) និងការខិតខំក្នុងកិច្ចការទាំងអស់; ទីស្ថានរបស់វាត្រូវបានពិពណ៌នាថា លាតដល់បំពង់ក និងតំបន់ខាងលើដ៏ទេវតាស្ថិត (សុរៈ)។
