धर्मतो धनमाहार्य यष्टव्यं चापि यत्नतः । हीनेभ्योपि न युंजीत त्वंकारं कर्हिचिद्बधः । त्वंकारो वा वधो वापि गुरूणामुभयं समम्
dharmato dhanamāhārya yaṣṭavyaṃ cāpi yatnataḥ | hīnebhyopi na yuṃjīta tvaṃkāraṃ karhicidbadhaḥ | tvaṃkāro vā vadho vāpi gurūṇāmubhayaṃ samam
ទ្រព្យគួររកបានតាមធម៌ ហើយគួរធ្វើយជ្ញដោយខិតខំប្រុងប្រយ័ត្ន។ មិនគួរប្រើពាក្យប្រមាថ «អ្នក!» ទោះចំពោះអ្នកទាបជាងក៏ដោយ—ការហៅបែប tvaṃkāra នោះជាប្រភេទនៃការរបួស។ ចំពោះគ្រូអាចារ្យ ការហៅដោយអសុភាព និងអំពើហិង្សាពិតប្រាកដ មានទម្ងន់ស្មើគ្នា។
