किं न श्रुतः पुरा गीतः श्लोकः स्वायंभुवेन यः । यथा बालेषु निक्षिप्ताः स्त्रीषु षंडितकेषु च । अपस्मारीषु चैवापि सर्वे ते संशयं गताः
kiṃ na śrutaḥ purā gītaḥ ślokaḥ svāyaṃbhuvena yaḥ | yathā bāleṣu nikṣiptāḥ strīṣu ṣaṃḍitakeṣu ca | apasmārīṣu caivāpi sarve te saṃśayaṃ gatāḥ
«តើអ្នកមិនបានឮទេ នូវស្លោកដែលស្វាយម្ភូវ (មនុ) បានច្រៀងពីមុន? ‘ពេលការងារត្រូវបានប្រគល់ឲ្យក្មេងៗ ឲ្យស្ត្រីៗ ឲ្យអ្នកឥតសមត្ថភាពបុរស (ឥនុខ) ហើយសូម្បីតែអ្នកមានជំងឺឆ្កួតជ្រូក នោះទាំងអស់គ្នានឹងធ្លាក់ចូលក្នុងសង្ស័យ និងភាពច្របូកច្របល់’»។
