ततः सर्वानपृच्छत्स कुलं कोऽपि न वेद तत् । ततो विष्णुरिदं प्राह पृछ्यंतेऽन्ये किमर्थतः
tataḥ sarvānapṛcchatsa kulaṃ ko'pi na veda tat | tato viṣṇuridaṃ prāha pṛchyaṃte'nye kimarthataḥ
បន្ទាប់មក គាត់បានសួរគ្រប់គ្នាអំពីវង្សត្រកូល (របស់កូនកំលោះ) ប៉ុន្តែមិនមាននរណាម្នាក់ដឹងឡើយ។ ទើបព្រះវិស្ណុមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា «ហេតុអ្វីត្រូវសួរអ្នកដទៃទៀត—មានបំណងអ្វី?»
