तत्र साम प्रयोक्तव्यमार्येषु गुणवत्सु च । दानं लुब्धेषु भेदश्च शंकितोष्वितो निश्चयः
tatra sāma prayoktavyamāryeṣu guṇavatsu ca | dānaṃ lubdheṣu bhedaśca śaṃkitoṣvito niścayaḥ
«ក្នុងរឿងនេះ សាមគួរប្រើជាមួយអ្នកមានសេចក្តីថ្លៃថ្នូរ និងអ្នកមានគុណធម៌; ដានមានប្រសិទ្ធិចំពោះអ្នកលោភ; ហើយការបំបែក គឺជាវិធីដ៏ប្រាកដចំពោះអ្នកសង្ស័យ និងចិត្តរំញ័រ។»
