स्कंद उवाच । शृण्वगस्त्य महाभाग भविष्यं कथयाम्यहम् । कृष्णद्वैपायनो व्यासोऽकथयद्यन्महद्वचः । निश्चिकेतुमनाः पश्चाद्यत्करिष्यति तच्छृणु
skaṃda uvāca | śṛṇvagastya mahābhāga bhaviṣyaṃ kathayāmyaham | kṛṣṇadvaipāyano vyāso'kathayadyanmahadvacaḥ | niściketumanāḥ paścādyatkariṣyati tacchṛṇu
ស្កន្ទៈមានព្រះបន្ទូល៖ សូមស្តាប់ អគស្ត្យ មហាភាគ! ខ្ញុំនឹងប្រាប់អនាគត។ សូមស្តាប់ព្រះវាចាធំ ដែលក្រឹષ્ણទ្វៃបាយន វ្យាស បានប្រកាស ហើយស្តាប់អំពីអ្វីដែលព្រះអង្គ នឹងធ្វើបន្ទាប់ ដោយចិត្តមុតមាំចង់សម្រេច។
