ក៏អាចប្រើឈើពីដើម śamī, apāmārga, ដើមឥន្ទផល (date-palm), śelu, śrīparṇī និង pīlu; ហើយក៏ពី rājādana និង nāraṅga (ក្រូច) ដែរ—ជាឈើមានរសជាតិជូរចត់/ស្រួយ (astringent) ហឹរ និងមានមុតកន្ទុយ។
