पुरा पितामहं विप्र मेरुशृंगे महर्षयः । प्रोचुः प्रणम्य लोकेशं किमेकं तत्त्वमव्ययम्
purā pitāmahaṃ vipra meruśṛṃge maharṣayaḥ | procuḥ praṇamya lokeśaṃ kimekaṃ tattvamavyayam
ឱ ព្រាហ្មណ៍! កាលពីបុរាណ នៅលើកំពូលភ្នំមេរុ មហារិសីទាំងឡាយបានក្រាបបង្គំចំពោះលោកេស្វរ (ព្រះអម្ចាស់នៃលោក) ហើយសួរថា៖ «តើតត្តវៈតែមួយ ដែលអវិនាស នោះជាអ្វី?»
