श्रीराम उवाच । का त्वं शुभे कस्य परिग्रहो वा केनावधूता विजने निरस्ता । मुष्टं धनं केन च तावकीनमाचक्ष्व मातः सकलं ममाग्रे
śrīrāma uvāca | kā tvaṃ śubhe kasya parigraho vā kenāvadhūtā vijane nirastā | muṣṭaṃ dhanaṃ kena ca tāvakīnamācakṣva mātaḥ sakalaṃ mamāgre
ព្រះរាមមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ នារីដ៏ជាមង្គល អ្នកជានរណា ហើយជាភរិយារបស់អ្នកណា? អ្នកណាបានបណ្តេញ និងទុកចោលអ្នកនៅទីស្ងាត់នេះ? ហើយអ្នកណាបានឆក់យកទ្រព្យត្រឹមមួយក្តាប់ដៃរបស់អ្នក? ឱ មាតា សូមប្រាប់អស់ទាំងអ្វីនៅមុខខ្ញុំ»
