जटायुस्संवादः — Encounter with Jaṭāyu and the Genealogy of Beings
Aranyakanda 14
पूर्वकाले महाबाहो ये प्रजापतयोऽभवन्।तान्मे निगदतस्सर्वानादितश्शृणु राघव।।3.14.6।।
pūrvakāle mahābāho ye prajāpātayo ’bhavan |
tān me nigadataḥ sarvān āditaḥ śṛṇu rāghava || 3.14.6 ||
ឱ ព្រះរាឃវៈអ្នកមានព្រះពាហុដ៏ខ្លាំងក្លា សូមស្តាប់ចាប់ពីដើមទៅ ខ្ញុំនឹងរៀបរាប់ដល់ព្រះអង្គអំពីព្រះប្រជាបតិដ៏បុរាណទាំងអស់ ដែលបានមាននៅកាលមុន។
On hearing Rama's words, the bird started narrating the origin of all beings including his own family:
Dharma as faithful transmission of knowledge: tradition is conveyed systematically (“from the beginning”) and respectfully to a worthy listener.
Jatāyu begins a formal genealogical/cosmic introduction, preparing to state the line of Prajāpatis as part of his own lineage account.
Reverent instruction and discipline in speech: Jatāyu frames his narration clearly, showing responsibility in conveying sacred/ancestral knowledge.
