Rudra (Śiva)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Inside a Śiva temple: devotees offering rows of oil lamps; musicians with vīṇā/mṛdaṅga; dancers performing in devotion before the sanctum; the deity’s presence felt as radiant calm.
Devotional worship expressed through light-offering and sacred arts (song and dance) becomes a complete means for attaining auspicious results.
The verse speaks generally of worship in an Īśvara temple within the Revā Khaṇḍa context, leading into the Nārada/Nāradeśvara tīrtha narrative.
Dīpa-dāna (offering a lamp) with bhakti, and arranging gīta (singing) and nṛtya (dance) as devotional service in the temple.
